Forever Pink Prom 2012

Last Saturday night, all the girls here at the sotre got all dolled up and headed to the Forever Pink Prom in SLC! We not only looked fab, with dresses from our store, but we had a blast! We were so excited to be able to experience Prom just like our clients, and even more excited about supporting a good cause. The Elyse Pantke White Foundation puts on a Prom every year and all the proceeds go to breast cancer research. Spending a night dancing in fancy ball gowns, all for a good cause, it doesn't get any better than that! We strive to be the most customer-oriented formal store you can find, and we love what we do! Our staff is a close knit, carefully selected team to make sure you get the attention you deserve on your special day. Come in and say hi!

The Interview

Question 1) If you were a color, what color would you be an why?

Jen: Teal...because it's mysterious ;)

Lorrie: PINK! I love love pink!!

Wendy: Orange, because I like bright and cheery

Mandi: I would be turquoise, because that's my favorite color, of course!

Kayla: Pink, my most favorite color

Question 2) If you had to survive on one food, what food would it be?

Jen: Beef jerky...I love it!

Lorrie: Sweet Tooth Fairy sugar cookies. To. Die. For.

Wendy: Homemade chips and salsa. I can eat that anytime of day, any day of the week!

Mandi: Dominos Pizza. Mmm.

Kayla: Any type of pasta. as long as it does NOT have shrimp!

Now for our last and deeply serious final question... (drum roll here)

Question 3) If you were going to Prom in 2012, what Just Girl Stuff dress would you wear?

Jen: I'm going to have to go with my inner Marilyn Monroe and choose that white Night Moves dress. It's so pretty!

Lorrie: That red Paprazzi one! I never got to wear a poofy dress and I always wanted to.

Wendy: Go big or go home baby! I love this Paparazzi by Mori Lee dress, talk about big, bold, and beautiful.

Mandi: I can't say for now which one because we don't have everything in yet, but it would be a mermaid style for sure! I've become obsessed with them lately! Probably this classic animal print from Vienna.

Kayla: Mermaid is my favorite style of dresses; I'd have to pick that style as well! Maybe this gorgeous Tony Bowls!! Sweet but sassy.

MoDeL SeArCh 2011!!

Back in October we held a Model Search for our Prom 2012 season. We had a great turn out, and the judges chose some amazing models! We have been working with the girls over the past few weeks on photo shoots with phtographer Dave Tucker. He put together some fantastic stuff, and we can't to share it all. Our girls have done such a great job!

2012 Model Search!

We are looking for any high school girls age 15-18 to participate on October 29th in a model search. You must call to set up an appointment prior to that date. Each participate will get a free photo shoot with professional Fashion Photographer Dave Tucker. Photos from the photo shoot will be used in the judging process. It will be narrowed down by our judges and the finalist’s pictures will be posted on our Facebook and who ever gets the most likes from there will be the winner. The winner will receive a free prom dress, custom suit for her date, and limo for their 2012 prom, plus be featured in all of our 2012 prom advertisements. Runner ups will receive gift certificates to Just Girl Stuff and also be featured in prom advertisements! Call soon to schedule your photo shoot, slots are filling up and we will only be entering those who have scheduled appointments! Hope to see you there!

Hair Accessories BOGO week!!!

I know this is the week that you have been waiting for! We only do this about twice a year, so be sure to stock up while you can. All of our hair accessories, including the more mature styles pictured a few week ago are BUY ONE GET ONE FREE!! (Higher priced item will be the one paid for) We have all kinds of headbands, bows, piggies, spiders, crowns, barrets, and sparklies! You will find things here for everyone from baby girls who have little hair, toddlers, girls, tweens, and teens/adults who want to spice up a special event.

Many of our bows, headbands, or piggies are locally made and can be custom made in your choice of colors! These are fun curlies that come in piggies and headbands for infant and child. Need certain color combos for a wedding, party, pictures, or just a particular outfit? We can make these and many of our other styles in any color and color combination you want!

These rosettes comes in multiple colors as bows or headbands.

Here are some curly headbands. We have another style we call loopies that are really cute too.

-Participation in flyer distribution, blog, and word-of-mouth advertising
